The Chocolate Tiger and the Motorcycle
Deep in the jungle lived a tiger named Choco. His fur was the color of dark chocolate, with stripes like melted caramel, and his eyes glowed golden in the sun. The other tigers thought he was strange, because Choco didn’t want to chase deer or nap on warm rocks. He wanted to see the whole world.
One misty morning, he found something hidden under a pile of vines: an old red motorcycle, dusty and a little rusty, abandoned by some traveler long ago.
Choco circled it slowly. He sniffed the leather seat and poked the handlebars with one paw. Then he climbed on, which was harder than it looked. His first try ended with him tumbling into a bush. His second try ended with the motorcycle falling over on top of him.
“Maybe tigers aren’t built for this,” he muttered, brushing leaves off his nose.
But he remembered the road at the edge of the jungle, stretching toward the horizon, and he tried again. This time he wrapped his paws around the handlebars, pressed a button, and the engine coughed, sputtered, and roared to life.
VROOOM!
The motorcycle lurched forward. Choco yelped, then laughed, because the wind was rushing through his fur and the trees were blurring past. Birds scattered, monkeys cheered from the branches, and even the grumpy old tigers stopped to stare as he zoomed by, his tail streaming behind him like a flag.
He rode through the jungle, over a rickety bridge, and up a hill. At the top, the whole world opened up before him: golden fields, shining rivers, and distant mountains.
Choco smiled. He wasn’t just the strange chocolate tiger anymore. He was the bravest rider in the jungle, and the road was only beginning.
